Registered Nurse

This position involves working night shifts on a Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit. The nurse will be responsible for caring for adult and geriatric patients. Experience with interpretation and management of dysrhythmias is essential. The nurse will administer medications and monitor telemetry equipment. The patient ratio during night shifts is approximately 6:1. Interdisciplinary support services will be available. The role requires familiarity with patient diagnoses, including orthopedics and bariatrics. All nursing staff are required to float to different units within the facility as needed. Competencies for tasks performed must be well-documented. Applicants should have a strong foundation in telemetry nursing. Candidates with a history of charge experience are preferred. This role requires a collaborative approach to patient care and communication with the healthcare team.
