Job Title: Construction Superintendent

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Construction Superintendent to join our dynamic team within the Baltimore market. The role involves managing projects up to $3 million, with a focus on interior projects such as SCIF rooms, secure spaces, office space, retail, and hospitality. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a small general contractor that has been experiencing significant growth.

Responsibilities

• Oversee subcontractors to ensure project quality and timelines are met.
• Manage project schedules and budgets effectively.
• Order necessary materials and coordinate permits and inspections.
• Ensure safety protocols are strictly followed on project sites.
• Facilitate communication between owners and project teams.

Essential Skills

• 3+ years of experience as a commercial construction superintendent.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints.
• Experience in managing secure spaces and SCIF rooms.
• Strong skills in schedule coordination and creation.
• Effective subcontractor management.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to coordinate meetings efficiently.
• Experience in material ordering.
• Capability to create detailed schedules.

Work Environment

Small project team with a family feel environment. Will be partnered with a Sr Superintendent to learn project management approaches.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Baltimore, MD.

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
