Counter Sales / Account Manager – Plumbing Equipment & Supplies

Pay: $25–$35 per hour, based on experience, plus overtime
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

We are recruiting a Counter Sales / Account Manager for an established plumbing equipment and supplies distributor. This is a full-time, permanent position offering competitive pay, available overtime, steady hours, and long-term career potential.

The ideal candidate will have experience selling plumbing equipment, parts, fixtures, and supplies. At least one year of plumbing sales experience is preferred. Candidates with plumbing industry knowledge and strong customer-service skills are also encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

• Assist contractors, plumbers, and other customers at the sales counter
• Identify customer needs and recommend the correct plumbing equipment, parts, and supplies
• Prepare quotes, enter orders, and process customer transactions
• Manage existing customer accounts and help develop new business
• Respond to questions regarding product availability, pricing, and order status
• Build strong, long-term relationships with contractors and commercial customers
• Coordinate with purchasing, warehouse, delivery, and customer-service teams
• Follow up on quotes, orders, and customer requests
• Maintain accurate account, order, and sales information
• Help keep the sales counter organized, professional, and customer-ready

Qualifications:

• At least one year of plumbing sales experience is preferred
• Knowledge of plumbing equipment, fittings, fixtures, parts, and supplies
• Counter sales, inside sales, wholesale distribution, or account management experience is a plus
• Strong communication, customer-service, and relationship-building skills
• Ability to identify products and recommend appropriate solutions
• Comfortable working with order-entry, inventory, quoting, and point-of-sale systems
• Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple customer requests
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Compensation:

This position pays $25–$35 per hour, depending on plumbing industry knowledge, sales experience, and qualifications. Overtime opportunities are also available.
