Receiving Clerk
Schedule : Monday–Friday, 7:00AM–3:00PM
Extended hours : Must be available to work until 5:00 PM when needed
Weekends : Some Saturdays may be required
Location : Oak Forest
Benefits : Medical insurance
Pay : $18.00
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Receiving Clerk to join our warehouse team. This role is responsible for receiving incoming materials, inspecting shipments, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring products are properly labeled and stored.
Key Responsibilities
Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy, damage, and overall condition.
Take and upload photos of all received materials.
Verify quantities and product quality against purchase orders and receiving documents.
Document and report shortages, discrepancies, damaged materials, or incorrect shipments.
Label and store products in their designated warehouse locations, including shipping, raw material, corrugated, cage, and cold-room areas.
Maintain accurate receiving records and documentation.
Scan and upload all receiving documents into required systems within 24 hours of receipt.
Coordinate with suppliers and vendors regarding deliveries as needed.
Keep the receiving area clean, safe, organized, and ready for daily operations.
Follow all warehouse safety procedures and company policies.
Qualifications
Previous receiving, warehouse, or inventory-control experience preferred.
Basic knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Comfortable using scanners, computers, and warehouse documentation systems.
Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 40–50 lbs.
Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Must be dependable and available for mandatory extended hours when needed.
