VP of Data Analytics and AI

Kforce's client in Kansas City, MO is seeking a VP of Data Analytics and AI to define and execute its enterprise data, analytics, and AI strategy. This role will build and lead the data function, modernize platforms, establish responsible governance, and deliver scalable data and AI capabilities aligned with business strategy. Key Responsibilities:
- Define and execute the enterprise data, analytics, and AI roadmap and investment plans
- Assess organizational readiness and forecast data, infrastructure, and resource needs
- Partner with executive and product leaders to prioritize initiatives and enable digital products
- Establish enterprise data governance, ownership, stewardship, security, privacy, and responsible AI practices
- Lead the lifecycle of data, analytics, and AI products from prioritization through ongoing enhancement
- Define KPIs to measure business impact and drive continuous improvement
- Expand self service analytics, data literacy, and data driven decision making
- Lead AI and machine learning solutions that automate processes and improve business outcomes
- Guide data architecture, engineering, integration, storage, and platform modernization
- Standardize key data domains and integration patterns to improve quality, scalability, interoperability, and performance
- Build and lead teams across governance, data management, architecture, engineering, analytics, AI, and platform operations
- Develop talent, career paths, performance standards, and training programs
- 15+ years of experience in data, analytics, and technology leadership with significant enterprise level experience
- Deep expertise in data governance, analytics, data management, modern data platforms, and architecture
- Strong knowledge of AI, machine learning, privacy, security, regulatory, and ethical data practices
- Ability to translate business strategy into technical execution and influence executive stakeholders
- Proven success delivering large scale data, analytics, and AI initiatives with measurable outcomes
- Experience building and leading high performing cross functional teams through change and ambiguity
