Registered Nurse - Operating Room

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join a fast-paced outpatient surgical team in a state-of-the-art orthopedic surgery center. Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care throughout the surgical process, including preoperative education, assessment, and post-surgical follow-up. Prepare patients for procedures, monitor them during surgery, and administer medications per physician and protocol guidelines. Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical technologists to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Accurately document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in electronic medical records. Educate patients and families on postoperative care and recovery expectations. Qualifications & Skills Active Connecticut RN license and a minimum of 1 year RN experience. Experience in Orthopedics, Operating Room, PACU, or Surgical Services preferred. Current BLS certification; ACLS preferred. Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills in a collaborative environment.
