What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and urgent situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with staff and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including halls, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor screening, directional support, and reporting of suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns.
• Complete routine reports and document incidents, observations, and patrol activities in accordance with Allied Universal standards and site expectations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Hospital-required vaccinations are required.
• Ability to work in a hospital morgue environment is required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to restrain individuals in a hospital setting is required.
• At least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
