Registered Nurse - MICU

This is a 13-week contract position.

7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, 36 hours per week, with every third weekend required.

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU). The successful candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities:

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the MICU.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
Monitor and record vital signs and other health indicators.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
Provide emotional support to patients and families during critical moments.
Participate in educational and professional development activities.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
Previous experience in a MICU or critical care setting preferred.
