PM On Call Staff

Job Summary Flagship requires culinary staff – Dishwashers, Cooks, Bakers, Receivers, and Front of House – to support a high‑profile client in the Bay Area. Working shifts are on‑call and as needed. Pay: $28.14 per hour. Hours: Monday through Friday, 1:00PM–9:30PM. Essential Functions Support culinary operations by providing on‑call support for various positions within the assigned café. Clean and prepare foods for cooking and serving. Stock supplies such as food and utensils in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, and salad bars. Transfer supplies and equipment between storage areas and work areas. Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pick-up areas. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen area. Consistently offer professional, friendly, and engaging service. Knowledge and Skills Effective communication with the team. Sense of urgency and customer service orientation. Physical ability to move throughout the café and kitchen safely. Capability to keep all service and cooking equipment clean and ready for use. Professional appearance. Awareness of kitchen layout and equipment operation. Education and Experience High School diploma or equivalent. 1–3 years of experience in a full‑service kitchen environment. Requirements Maintain an exceptional personal record of punctuality and attendance. Consistently perform all duties responsibly and efficiently. Preferred Active Food Handlers’ Certification. Work Environment The job operates in a large, fast‑paced corporate kitchen. Noise levels are high, with frequent interruptions. Employees are regularly exposed to chemicals, food allergens (milk, egg, nuts, fish, shellfish, wheat, soy), steam, and wet floors. Slippery or uneven surfaces may be encountered. A high sense of urgency is required. Physical Demands Constant use of hands to load washers, pots and plates, and to manipulate containers. Frequent lifting and carrying of garbage, trash bags, trays, pots, and pans up to 30lbs; objects over 40lbs require two people. Frequent rotation of the body, bending, twisting, squatting, kneeling, standing, walking, and reaching above shoulder level. Pulling and pushing carts both loaded and unloaded. Need for good or correctable vision to perform duties safely. Maintain balance on slippery or uneven surfaces.
