Associate Litigation Attorney

Job Overview

We are seeking a full-time Associate Attorney (0–6 years of experience) to join our downtown San Diego office. This is an excellent opportunity for an early- mid career attorney seeking hands-on litigation experience in a collaborative and mentorship-driven environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to engage in a diverse range of legal matters, including complex litigation, legal research, and drafting.

Our attorneys are recognized leaders in the defense bar, and our firm is known for strong trial advocacy and hands-on training.

Responsibilities

• Manage cases from inception through resolution
• Take and defend depositions
• Draft and argue dispositive motions
• Conduct expert discovery
• Participate in client communications
• Gain trial experience (typically within the first two years)

Qualifications

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
• Active CA Bar license (or pending admission)
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Ability to work independently with guidance
