Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) | Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Location: Bon Air, VA Pay Rate: $37/hour Position Type: Per Diem Care Setting: Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Shift Availability: 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, 11pm-7am Job Summary Elite Medical Staffing is hiring Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for skilled nursing opportunities in Bon Air, VA. Responsibilities An LPN picking up shifts through Elite Medical Staffing at a skilled nursing facility may be expected to: Utilize EMR Matrix to record patients’ medical information and vital signs Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility policies Monitor resident conditions and promptly report significant changes to the appropriate clinical team Measure, record, and maintain accurate resident health information and vital signs Provide direct nursing care, including wound care and other treatments within scope of practice Assist with resident assessments and implementation of individualized care plans Accurately document medications, treatments, observations, and resident responses Support and collaborate with CNAs and other healthcare team members to provide quality care Maintain compliance with facility policies, infection control standards, and regulatory requirements Communicate concerns or issues to onsite supervisor and agency Other duties as assigned Qualifications Minimum 1 year of experience working under an active LPN license Minimum 1 year of experience working in skilled nursing Must have reliable transportation to assigned facilities Must maintain consistent attendance and punctuality Able to push, pull, and lift at least 50 pounds Able to be standing and walking with frequent bending, reaching, and lifting with proper body mechanics Must be legally authorized to work in the United States Willing to complete background and drug screening in accordance with applicable laws and regulations Credentials Required Active and unencumbered VA LPN License or Compact LPN License Government-Issued Photo ID or Passport CPR/BLS Additional credentials may be required based on facility placement About Elite Medical Staffing Elite Medical Staffing is a healthcare staffing agency connecting experienced nursing and allied healthcare professionals with flexible, high-paying opportunities.
