Our client, a growing and well-established company in the Placentia area , is seeking a Junior Buyer to join their team on a contract basis. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their purchasing or supply chain career who is looking to gain hands-on experience working with vendors, purchase orders, and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the procurement of materials, supplies, and services to support business operations

• Create and process purchase orders while ensuring accuracy and timely delivery

• Communicate with vendors and suppliers to track orders, resolve issues, and confirm shipment timelines

• Monitor inventory levels and assist with replenishment planning

• Maintain and update purchasing records and reports within internal systems

• Support the purchasing team with pricing comparisons, vendor research, and cost analysis

• Coordinate with internal departments including operations, logistics, and accounting

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain, or administrative support within operations

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Experience with purchase orders, vendor communication, or inventory tracking

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities

Preferred

• Experience working in manufacturing, distribution, or supply chain environments

• Familiarity with ERP systems or purchasing software
