Real Estate Strategy Analyst

The primary purpose of this role is to drive company thinking in advanced analytics and insights specific to geospatial analytics, market insights, and real estate investment in order to drive better ROIs across Lowe’s areas of investment. Your Impact The Real Estate Strategy Analyst will ensure analyses and insights are accurate, impactful, timely and efficient. Leveraging an expansive set of analytic techniques, the analyst will create holistic recommendations to executives on when and where dollars should be invested, especially behind new store locations and supply chain nodes, providing justifications. The role requires deep knowledge of disparate data sources, relevant external data, and strong domain expertise in geospatial planning, analytics and forecasting. The analyst will collaborate closely with peers across the Real Estate team to create innovative measurement solutions and actionable insights that drive business performance. What You Will Do Determine best facility locations for future investment This effort will enable senior leadership to understand where to allocate future investments for Lowe’s growth and competitiveness in the market, including retail and non‑retail locations. Key responsibilities Ensure appropriate data reliability and structure for analysis and with supplier partners to support accurate, robust and actionable market prioritization models. Deploy results from real estate models with a simple yet compelling message and recommendation that drives action by business leaders. Develop spatial models and manage geodatabases. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Statistics, Econometrics, Information Sciences or related field, or equivalent years of experience. Equivalent years of experience in lieu of education, if applicable. Preferred Skills At least 1 year working knowledge of Esri products, including ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Enterprise (Portal/Server), ArcGIS Online, Web App Builder, and Esri Story Maps. At least 2 years experience using a querying language (e.g., SQL). Expertise in Windows system architecture. 1+ year experience with analytic software such as Alteryx, ArcGIS, Tableau, SAS, SPSS, R, or Python. Sales forecasting experience.
