Working alongside licensed pharmacists, you'll help ensure prescriptions are processed efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of quality, compliance, and customer service in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment.Every day you will support pharmacy operations by processing prescriptions, assisting with medication preparation, managing insurance claims, and providing exceptional service to patients. Your attention to detail and commitment to accuracy will help ensure patients receive the medications they need safely and efficiently.To be successful in this role, you will be detail-oriented, customer-focused, and committed to delivering exceptional patient care. You'll thrive in a collaborative environment where accuracy, professionalism, and strong communication skills are essential to supporting pharmacy operations and creating a positive patient experience.Process new and refill prescriptions while ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and organizational regulations.Assist pharmacists with preparing, packaging, labeling, and dispensing medications to promote safe and accurate patient care.Process insurance claims, resolve billing issues, and communicate with insurance providers to support timely prescription fulfillment.Provide outstanding customer service by assisting patients with prescription pick-up, answering general pharmacy questions, and operating the point-of-sale system.Maintain medication inventory, monitor expiration dates, and support quality assurance by helping identify potential medication or dispensing errors.Registered/licensed Pharmacy Tech in the State of NE required prior to start dateActive CPT-EXCPT or CPT-PTCB or CPHT certification in good standing is required after one year from the registration/licensure dateCHI Health Retail Pharmacy Grand Island Family Health Center 2530 Sheridan Ave Grand Island, NE 68803Depending on the position offered, CommonSpirit Health offers a generous benefit package, including but not limited to medical, prescription drug, dental, vision plans, life insurance, paid time off (full-time benefit eligible team members may receive a minimum of 14 paid time off days, including holidays annually), tuition reimbursement, retirement plan benefit(s) including, but not limited to, 401(k), 403(b), and other defined benefits offerings, as may be amended from time to time.
