Travel Cardiac Cath Lab Tech - $2,481 per week

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13‑week assignment in Kansas City, Missouri. Job Details Specialty: Cath Lab Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 40 per week (8‑hour days) Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Responsibilities This role supports advanced diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. Key responsibilities include: Prepare and set up Cardiac Laboratory procedure rooms, ensuring adequate stock and equipment functionality, including instrument sterilization if required. Prepare patient and equipment for cardiac lab procedures: site of entry, draping, arranging sterilized instruments and catheters, calibrating and setting up pressure transducers and tubing. Operate and monitor all equipment used in the cardiac cath lab, ensuring quality control and knowledge of related equipment. Scrub in during procedures, assisting physicians in maneuvering catheters. Obtain and record hemodynamic, electrical, and angiographic data using hemodynamic and electrical amplifiers and digital/line fluoroscopic equipment. Monitor patient hemodynamic status throughout the procedures. Participate in life‑saving measures such as defibrillation and cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Qualifications Minimum 1 year of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist. BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certifications required. ARRT (R) – CI preferred or CCI‑RCIS certification; additional certifications may be required before assignment. State licensing as required. Job ID: 1452603.
