RN - Heart Failure Center, PRN

Overview The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the life cycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. The nurse functions within the policies and procedures of the organization, demonstrates professional growth and accountability, maintains standards of practice, and coordinates patient care activities of all assigned staff to provide quality nursing care. Hours 8:00 am – 4:30 pm. Responsibilities The staff nurse will perform nursing care to patients across the life cycle, assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, adhere to policies and procedures, demonstrate professional growth, maintain standards, and coordinate care activities across assigned staff. Qualifications Education Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing (Required) Bachelor's Degree Preferred Work Experience No experience required: New graduates of a nursing program eligible (Required) Nursing experience in a hospital setting Preferred 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions Preferred Licenses and Certifications RN – Registered Nurse – Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure; current license in the State of Georgia required BCLS – Basic Life Support (Required) Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable (see addendum) Business Unit Piedmont Cartersville (Company Name) #J-18808-Ljbffr
