Join Booz Allen Hamilton’s Strategic team to work on a top‑priority space program, developing and deploying the next generation of strategic military satellite communications capabilities. Key Responsibilities Serve as Lead Systems Integrator for the project, ensuring space, ground, and crypto segments are integrated successfully. Provide direct support to the chief engineer and manage the Booz Allen engineering team supporting the program office. Assist the government in developing and deploying mission‑critical systems for U.S. Space Force personnel. Coordinate with Booz Allen colleagues, supporting contractors, and military partners to deliver engineering solutions that meet user needs. Perform risk management, identify, analyze, and propose program risks, issues, opportunities, and mitigation plans. Participate in DoD technical program reviews, including SRR, SFR, PDR, CDR, MRR, TRR, FCA, or PCAs. Use Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook in a fast‑paced environment. Required Experience and Qualifications 9+ years of experience performing systems engineering or integration in DoD space or ground systems. 5+ years of experience performing the risk management process on space-related Major Defense Acquisition Programs. 5+ years of experience identifying, analyzing, and proposing program risks, issues, opportunities, and mitigation plans. Experience with DoD program reviews (SRR, SFR, PDR, CDR, MRR, TRR, FCA, PCAs). Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Teams. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively on cross‑functional teams. Dynamic work ethic and initiative to complete complex tasks. TS/SCI clearance required. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Satellite Communications Mission area. Experience with space acquisition. Experience with Agile software methodologies. Experience with Confluence or JIRA. Master’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science. INCOSE Systems Engineering Professional Certifications (ASEP, CSEP, or ESEP). Certification & Clearance Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. TS/SCI clearance is required. Compensation & Benefits The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD).
