Instructor - Mathematics AY 2026/27 The Department of Mathematics, Computer Science, and Digital Forensics at Commonwealth University invites applications for a one-year full-time temporary instructor position for the academic year 2026-27 to teach Mathematics/Statistics at the Lock Haven campus. Duties - Teaching introductory mathematics and statistics courses such as: Mathematical Thinking, Critical Reasoning, College Algebra, and Introduction to Statistics. The normal full-time teaching load is 12 credit hours of instruction per-semester. Qualifying Experience and Education (Minimum/Preferred) - An earned Master's degree in Mathematics or Statistics, OR an earned Master's degree in Computer Science with at least 30 credits of graduate level mathematics courses, OR an earned Master's degree in a related field with at least 30 credits of graduate level mathematics courses. The ability to communicate well, a strong commitment to teaching, and demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations.
