Sales Support Specialist

Description We’re looking for a Sales & Procurement Representative to support customer relationships, supplier development, and light purchasing within the automotive manufacturing industry. This role works closely with Tier 1 customers, internal teams, and outsourcing partners to support pricing, quoting, and new program launches. Key Responsibilities Maintain relationships with 4 Tier 1 customers and 4 outsourcing suppliers Support new business development, quoting, pricing updates, and prototype requests Coordinate with Quality, Engineering, and Production Control on new project start‑ups Analyze design/material/process changes for cost impact Manage ~5 purchase orders per week for outsourced products Assist with supplier negotiations and issue resolution Use Excel for reporting (formulas, pivot tables, charts) Skills Work within IQMS ERP (experience not required) Purchasing, ERP, sales, sales support, sales management Qualifications Experience working for a manufacturing company in a sales/procurement role Balanced experience in sales, purchasing, sourcing, or program management Strong communication skills; Japanese language a plus Proficient in Excel Ability to manage multiple priorities in a small team environment Pay & Benefits Pay range: $55,000 – $62,000 per year. Incentives after 30 days of employment include 3 weeks PTO, 10 paid holidays, tuition reimbursement, 401(k) with 4% company match, and 80/20 benefits plan. Onsite wellness center and HSA are also provided. Typical costs: $18-30/month for a single person; $44-120/month for a family depending on options.
