Salary: $95,000 - $125,000 per year A bit about us: We are seeking an experienced Project Manager / Estimator to join a leading commercial construction organization specializing in industrial, mission-critical, manufacturing, distribution, warehouse, and commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for both preconstruction estimating and project management activities, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires a strong understanding of construction operations, cost estimating, subcontractor management, budgeting, scheduling, and client relationship management. Why join us? Job Details Key Responsibilities Estimating & Preconstruction Review plans, specifications, and project documents to develop accurate cost estimates and proposals. Prepare quantity takeoffs, bid packages, and project budgets. Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing. Identify value engineering opportunities and cost-saving solutions. Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and project planning discussions. Collaborate with owners, architects, engineers, and internal teams during the preconstruction phase. Project Management Manage commercial construction projects from award through closeout. Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecasts. Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel. Monitor project progress to ensure adherence to scope, schedule, quality, and budget objectives. Review contracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation. Conduct project meetings and provide regular status updates to stakeholders. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company standards, and project requirements. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred. 5+ years of experience in commercial construction estimating, project management, or a combination of both. Experience managing industrial, warehouse, manufacturing, mission-critical, data center, distribution, commercial interior, or base-building projects preferred. Strong understanding of construction methods, building systems, and project delivery processes. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts. Proficiency with construction management and estimating software. Excellent financial management, negotiation, communication, and organizational skills. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. Preferred Skills Conceptual and detailed estimating experience. Budget development and cost control expertise. Scheduling experience using Microsoft Project, Primavera, or similar platforms. Strong subcontractor procurement and management background. Experience working in fast-paced commercial construction environments. Knowledge of value engineering and risk mitigation strategies. Interested in hearing more?
