Position Details:

Job Title: RN Med Surg

Location: York, ME 03909

Duration: 13 weeks

Schedule: Nights 7 p m- 7:30 am, no call

Guaranteed Hours: 36

Start date: 06/15/2026 Tentative



Key Responsibilitie s:

• Monitor and assess patients' conditions, including vital signs, pain levels, and overall health status.

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate with doctors, CNAs, and healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Provide wound care, IV therapy, and post-operative nursing care.
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans, medications, and recovery processes.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Respond quickly to changes in patient conditions and medical emergencies.
• Ensure patient safety while following infection control and hospital protocols.

Qualifications:

• Current and valid RN license in ME- No License hits allowed
• BLS and ACLS certified
• 3 years previous Med Surg experience
• Strong communication, organizational, and clinical skills
