Labor and Delivery Nurse (RN)

We are seeking qualified Labor and Delivery Nurses (RNs) to join our dedicated team. The successful candidates will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in a specialized obstetrics setting, ensuring the safety and well-being of both mothers and newborns.

Position Details

Role: Registered Nurse (RN)
Specialties: Labor and Delivery, Nursery
Number of Openings: 2 for L&D, 2 for Nursery
Shift: 7p
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
Weekend Hours: 7p-7a
Float Requirements: Possible between units based on census

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 1 to 1.5 years of experience in Labor and Delivery and Nursery care
Certifications:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- Intermediate Fetal Monitoring or above
- STABLE certification for nursery care

Unit Information

Unit Name: Obstetrics (OB)
Trauma Level: Level 3 OB
Number of Beds:
- 3 L&D beds
- 9 OB beds
- 14 Nursery beds
- 3 Intermediate Nursery beds
Patient Ratios: As per A1 Guidelines
Equipment: General OB unit equipment available
EHR System: Meditech
