We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified OccupationalTherapy Assistant (COTA) with pediatric experience to support studentswithin a respected school district in Carlsbad,NM. Working under thesupervision of a licensed occupational therapist, you will helpstudents develop, improve, and maintain essential functional skills tosucceed in the classroom and beyond. Responsibilities •Support students in meeting individualized therapy goals as directedby the supervising occupational therapist
•Conduct classroom observations to assess how students manageeducational tasks and routines
•Accurately track and report student progress to the supervising therapist
•Maintain timely, legible, and efficient documentation of allsessions and interventions
•Safely and effectively utilize therapeutic equipment andclassroom resources
•Perform all responsibilities in a competent, compassionate, andstudent-centered manner

Requirements
•Active state license as a Certified Occupational TherapyAssistant
•New Mexico Public Education Department (PED) License.
•Current CPR/BLS certification
•Minimum of 6 months of relevant COTA experience within the last 5 years
