Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to identify clients' mental health needs, establishing a solid foundation for individualized treatment plans.
  • Design and implement personalized therapy programs that target specific issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and family dynamics.
  • Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions grounded in evidence-based practices, providing clients with tools and strategies for coping and recovery.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and case managers to ensure comprehensive, well-rounded care for clients, discussing cases during regular team meetings.
  • Educate clients and their families about mental health issues, recovery processes, and available resources, fostering a supportive environment throughout their healing journey.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records, adhering to all regulatory and ethical requirements, utilizing electronic health record systems for efficient documentation.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals, couples, and families across various demographics. This may encompass clients dealing with marital issues, parenting struggles, substance abuse problems, and severe mental health conditions. Our emphasis on cultural competence ensures that you will provide services that respect and reflect the unique backgrounds of each client, enhancing their therapeutic experience.

Qualifications

  • A current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
  • A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build trusting relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • A compassionate, empathetic, and nonjudgmental approach to client care that promotes a safe therapeutic environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively juggle a caseload while meeting the needs of your clients.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in telehealth delivery methods, particularly in providing remote therapy sessions through digital platforms.
  • Familiarity with specific therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), or similar approaches.
  • Prior experience working within a community health setting, focusing on diverse and complex client needs.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
