A Progressive Care Unit nurse (PCU nurse) has a unique job of caring for patients as they transition from the ICU. A progressive care nurse works in a hospital. A PCU nurse specializes in the medical treatment and surgery of patients with needs that are too complicated for a regular hospital floor, but do not require admission to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

Travel Clinical Staff. Cancellations by Client permitted with 2 weeks' notice prior to the anticipated start date without monetary penalty. Client Affiliate may also cancel currently contracted travel Staff for cause, without monetary penalty to HealthTrust or Client Affiliate; immediately upon notice without cause, with a fee equal to the lesser of 2 weeks of such travel Staff's guaranteed hours or the guaranteed hours remaining in the assignment payable to Subcontractor; or with 2 weeks' notice without cause, without monetary penalty to HealthTrust or Client Affiliate. Subcontractor shall pay travel Clinical Staff the wages such travel Clinical Staff would have received in the event of cancellation subject to 1.11.2(ii) above. All travel Clinical Staff shall work the length of the assigned contract, not by the number of total hours worked.
