Are you an experienced hotel operations leader ready to co-captain one of the most prominent full-service Marriott properties in Texas? White Lodging is hiring an Assistant General Manager at Austin Marriott Downtown — a General Manager-in-training opportunity at a high-volume, downtown Austin hotel with multiple F&B outlets, extensive event space, and a dynamic guest mix of convention groups, corporate travelers, and leisure guests.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Lead day-to-day hotel operations across rooms, food and beverage, events, and guest services alongside the General Manager
• Drive performance across guest satisfaction scores, associate engagement, event execution, operational audits, and F&B profitability
• Train, develop, and mentor associates at every level — building long-term careers within White Lodging's Austin hotel network
• Foster a people-first culture aligned with White Lodging values, supporting retention and internal promotion
• Grow your skillset daily with a clear path toward General Manager within the White Lodging portfolio

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

• Leadership experience in Food & Beverage management and/or Rooms Division operations at a full-service hotel — required
• Prior AGM, hotel operations manager, F&B Director, or department head experience at a Marriott-brand or upscale hotel — strongly preferred
• Proven track record developing high-performing teams in a complex, high-volume hotel environment
• Collaborative, people-first leadership style with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• A genuine desire to grow your hospitality career in Austin, TX — and a drive to reach General Manager
