Respiratory TherapistLocation: Southfield, MISchedule: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AMContract: 13 weeksPay Details: Gross weekly pay: $2206.80/Week Stipend: $1270.80/Week W2 Hourly: $26.00/HourJob Summary: Under the general supervision of the Respiratory Therapy Supervisor, the Respiratory Therapist provides life-support, resuscitation, patient monitoring, and medical gas therapies.Responsibilities:Providing respiratory care and diagnostic services to ICU and General Practice patients.Accurately documenting all aspects of patient care.Supervising and mentoring Respiratory Therapists, new hires, externs, and students as assigned.Completing accurate patient billing documentation.Maintaining effective communication with patients, physicians, and interdisciplinary staff.Required Qualifications:Minimum of 2 years of recent Respiratory Therapist experienceAssociate of Science DegreeCurrent ARRT or NBRC registrationCurrent Respiratory Therapist (RT) licenseCurrent BLS certification (AHA)Preferred Qualifications:Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) experience.Experience working in a Level II Trauma Center.
