Job Description As a Security Officer Patrol in Meridian, MS , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while responding to alarms and assisting tenants, visitors, and property personnel. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $14.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Tue 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sat 12:00 PM - 08:00 PM Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property management personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location. Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of building interiors, parking areas, entrances, common areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with entry procedures, and report suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific response protocols. Prepare clear, accurate reports and activity logs documenting patrols, incidents, observations, and actions taken. Minimum Requirements: At least one year of security-related experience is required. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
