Location: New Iberia LA 70560
Duration: 06+ Months
Pay: $14.00/HR - $15.00/hr on W2 without benefits
Shift: Offshore rotation, 12hr per shift, on call and attempt to keep near to 4 weeks on 2 weeks off yearly Summary:
The Equipment Operator is responsible for delivering safe, efficient, and reliable PSD to customers. The Equipment Operator identifies opportunities to improve service delivery, and assists field and maintenance crews with preparing equipment for operations. * Ensure job deliverables are accurate and delivered on time. * Participate in pre-job and Toolbox meetings with crew members. * Maintain good, safe working order of equipment according to standards, reporting problems or deviations. * Ensure individual and crew work safety. * Prepare equipment for rig up and rig down times. * Operate the equipment according to competency level and job requirement. * Wear PPE and observe HSE policies. * Maintain the required safety training.
The Sample Catcher performs all kinds of jobs, with assigned equipment and people, safely and efficiently. The Sample Catcher provides service delivery with flawless service quality and no Health, Safety and Environment (HS&E) incidents in accordance with policies, standards, and procedures. The position reports to the Supervisor.
Successful Sample Catchers are adaptable, show initiative, and have good written and verbal communication skills. They work well in teams and are curious and willing to learn new skills.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Participates in pre-tour and tool-box meeting with all members of the Rig crew.
- Is always fully compliant with the requirements of the QHSE policies, standards, and wears required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Completes formal training sessions on QHSE and technical subjects as described by the Training Matrixes for the position.
- Obtains certifications as required for duties assigned.
- Maintains all equipment in good, safe working order according to standards and reports any problem or deviation.
- Works in a safe and conscientious manner to ensure personal safety and the safety of fellow crew members.
- Makes up part of emergency crews performing duties as required by station bill or as otherwise directed.
- Performs manual labor around the rig.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor
- Carries out regular housekeeping, and routine maintenance of equipment.
- Prepare for Rig up and Rig down of equipment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED).
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a skilled operator or equivalent military experience.
- Basic PC literacy and experience with Microsoft Office Suite desirable.
- Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in the US/Canada, without sponsorship
