Position Title: Setup TechnicianWage: $23.00/hourShift: 3rd or 12 Hour NightsHours: 6:00pm - 6:00am (Friday - Sunday)Are your skills not being fully utilized? Apply now!Setup Technician Responsibilities:Performing set-up, changeover, teardown, and maintenance of extrusion tooling and related equipmentOperating extruder and auxiliary downstream equipmentOperating forklifts and other material handling equipment as requiredProducing quality products by following extrusion set-up sheets, work instructions, and company proceduresCompleting dimensional charts, check sheets, and all required production documentation accurately and on timeUpdating set-up sheets and related documents as processes or specifications changeInspecting parts to specification using precision measuring and testing equipmentTroubleshooting extrusion process issues and providing technical support to operators and other lines as neededParticipating in root-cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventative correctionsPreparing cartons, skids, and tooling for upcoming orders to support production flowMaintaining clean, organized, and safe work environmentRequirements for Setup Technician:High school diploma or equivalentExperience in plastic extrusion set-up and operation; prior forklift experienceAbility to read and follow technical documentation and specificationsStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityAbility to work independently and collaboratively with othersStanding/walking for 8-10 hours in fast-paced environment; lifting 50 pounds regularlyStrong math skills including fractions and conversionsIND045QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
