We are seeking a detail-oriented State Lead Specialist to assist in investigating, monitoring, and supporting families affected by lead exposure across the state.
Work Location: Indianapolis, IN
Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite
Interview Process: Phone Interview In-Person Interview
Key Responsibilities (The Crux)

Case Management: Audit and track active lead exposure cases across multiple counties to ensure timely follow-up and closure.

Data & Surveillance: Enter lead test results into health tracking databases and resolve reporting errors or invalid entries.

Field Support: Coordinate with local health units to ensure missing assessments (risk, nutritional, developmental) are completed.
Important Skills Needed
Primary Skills (Required):

Case Tracking & Organization: Ability to manage and track data across dozens of counties concurrently.

Software Proficiency: Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Office, Adobe, and video conferencing tools.

Clear Communication: Excellent oral and written communication skills to interact with medical professionals and the public.

Education: Bachelor's Degree required.

Logistics: Must be local, have valid personal transportation for limited reimbursed travel, and be available for an in-person interview.
Secondary Skills (Preferred):

Working knowledge of lead/heavy metal laws and state health rules (e.g., 410 IAC 29).
