Contract | Days | 5x8-Hour Shifts | Flexible start times ranging from 6:00 AM to 12:00 PM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver radiation therapy treatments to patients in accordance with prescribed plans, including external beam radiation therapy, IMRT, and IGRT
• Perform CT simulation procedures as part of the treatment planning process
• Utilize radiation oncology-specific electronic medical record systems as well as record and verify systems
• Participate in weekend and holiday on-call rotations as scheduled
• Float to other affiliated facilities within the health system as needed
• Maintain ARRT(R)(T) certification , active Ohio license , and current BLS certification (AHA or American Red Cross) throughout the duration of the assignment

Required Qualifications

• ARRT(R)(T) certification required and must be active at time of submission
• Active Ohio state license required at time of submission (compact licenses accepted for starts dated 1/1/23 and forward)
• BLS certification from AHA or American Red Cross required and must be active
• Graduate of a Radiation Therapy Technology program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP)
• Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in Radiation Therapy prior to travel
• Candidates must be nicotine-free; a negative 10-panel drug screen including nicotine (cotinine) is required within 12 months of start and must be updated annually
• Local candidates are welcome and will be considered at the same rate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with external radiation therapy modalities including IMRT and IGRT
• Experience with CT simulation procedures
• Familiarity with radiation oncology-specific electronic medical record and record-and-verify systems
