This position offers an opportunity to provide quality nursing care to patients with a range of medical conditions. Position Details Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Shift (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM) - 3 shifts per week Weekend Requirements: 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule Floating: Must be willing to float between departments and multiple locations. Key Responsibilities Evaluate assigned patients and plan, implement, and document nursing care. Assist physicians during examinations and procedures. Perform various patient tests and administer medications within the scope of practice. Promote patient independence by establishing care goals and educating patients and families on health conditions and self-care skills. Utilize experience and judgment to plan and accomplish nursing goals. Perform a variety of tasks and exercise creativity and decision-making skills in patient care. Qualifications Current Arizona nursing license. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role. Experience with Cerner EMR is required. Ability to manage cardiac drips and familiarity with TAVRs and Watchman mitral clips is preferred. Work Environment This position requires working within a floating pool across multiple locations, providing care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
