Your responsibilities

Position Summary: We are seeking motivated, mechanically inclined individuals to join our growing team. Successful candidates will be dependable, eager to work and ready to learn the skills needed to succeed in a variety of manufacturing and production environments.

This is a hands-on-position that requires individuals to be capable of performing job duties with heavy machinery in an active production environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform physical operations of a machining center. Organize workflow and plan machining sequences. Meet inspection requirements for compliance to drawings and specifications. This is a 1st shift position.

• Through monitoring and measurement, assure that products meet customer expectations
• Plan machining by having understanding of assets and related equipment
• Understand all GD&T requirements for any given process
• Machine setup along with program downloading and editing
• Asset knowledge of Fanuc or Siemens interface and the knowledge to navigate the control to improve operations
• Understanding of tooling, knowledge of turning and drilling tools
• Maintain work cell to premium standards

Education and Skill Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Previous machining experience and practices
• Blueprint and GD&T knowledge

Export Control: This position requires access to exported-controlled technical data or technology. Employment is contingent upon thyssenkrupp's ability to obtain any required export authorization from the appropriate government agency or agencies.

Salary Range: $31.73/hr
