Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Behavioral Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1+ years License: Active RN license in Tennessee required Certifications: BLS, HWC Must-Have: Experience with dementia patients Description: Urgent need for a registered nurse in the behavioral health specialty. Candidates must have experience working with dementia patients. The facility provides a range of services to meet community healthcare needs. It offers emergency, inpatient, and outpatient services through its acute care facilities. The unit includes a geriatric behavioral health program. Clinical staff must be checked against the Tennessee Abuse Registry prior to starting. Candidates should possess calm demeanor and work well with others. Preferred experience includes common diagnoses and treatments related to dementia with behavioral disturbances. Dress code requires solid color scrubs, while facial piercings are not acceptable. There are 24 beds in the unit with a patient ratio of 1:7. The electronic health record system used is Medhost.
