AGRO Maintenance Technician - 3rd Shift Requisition ID: 4975 Location: Stevia Extraction facility, Lake Panasoffkee, Florida. This is an on‑site position. Hours are Monday through Friday, 11:00 pm to 7:30 am.

SCOPE

The AGRO maintenance technician is responsible for proactively maintaining and repairing equipment. The role includes performing all scheduled preventative maintenance, reviewing and improving PM systems, and troubleshooting and repairing simple to complex process equipment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Proactively perform all condition‑based and preventive maintenance work to OEM standards. Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair or replace simple to complex problems in plant production equipment. Install new equipment. Analyze line performance data and provide line improvement support based on findings and analysis. Understand the Theory of Operation for all pieces of equipment in area of responsibility. Provide input to the Centerline standard based on expertise and observations. Document all work order information within Computer Maintenance Management System per best practices. Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA). Actively participate in Plant Initiatives and Improvement teams. Support technical training to Operators and specific training to allow them to perform basic maintenance tasks. Provide recommendations to spare‑part stocking levels. Serve as a role model to drive a positive culture and exemplify established values. All other duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Able to perform climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions. Able to work seated using a computer and phone for extended periods. Able to work extended hours, including daily overtime and occasional weekends. Must possess visual acuity to document company records. Continuously walk throughout plant and distribution center. Lift up to 50 pounds.

QUALIFICATIONS

Strong mechanical and electrical skills. Experience troubleshooting complex control systems using PLC. Ability to read and understand P&ID and electrical schematics. Familiarity with CMMS and production workflow/controls systems. Knowledge of packaging, conveyance, liquid and powder manufacturing equipment and processes. Knowledge of rigging for removal and installation of equipment. Self‑managed, reliable, motivated, dedicated, and committed with ability to schedule and perform work unsupervised. Good communication skills with operators, other mechanics and resources. Proactive individual that takes responsibility for their equipment, line, coworkers and continuous improvement of the operation. Team player with honest communication, positive attitude, engagement, and personal accountability. Detail‑oriented individual who accurately records information. Able to work off‑shifts, weekends, and extended shifts. Able to work with computers (navigating systems, recording information, finding information to perform the job). Must understand oral and written instructions in English. Excellent safety, job performance and attendance records. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and handle multiple tasks effectively.
