CT Technologist

Position Description

Unit Information:

Location: Asheville, NC
Number of Beds: 800
Type of Equipment: GE Optima, 3 GE EVO, GE Revolution, Medrad Injectors
EMR: Cerner Rad Net, Phillips PACS

General Information

Staffing Structure:

Day Shift: 5 Technologists and Supervisor
Evening Shift: 4-5 Technologists and Rad Assistant
Night Shift: 2-3 Technologists and Rad Assistant

Typical Procedures Performed:

Neuro Imaging
Musculoskeletal (MSK) Imaging
Body Imaging
Invasive Procedures
Cardiac Imaging
Pediatric Imaging

Qualifications

Required Skills:

Expertise in all areas of CT Imaging, including diagnostic scans and invasive procedures.
Experience in Emergency Department (ED) trauma and stroke imaging.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with GE equipment
Invasive CT procedures
Cardiac Imaging knowledge
Venipuncture skills

Best Personality Fit:

The ideal candidate is a team player who can also work independently. A self-motivated individual is preferred.

Certification Requirements

ARRT (R) certification is required.

Dress Code

The required scrub color is black.

Work Schedule

Typical work schedule is Tuesday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM.
Weekend shifts may be required occasionally.
Possible rotation to another shift may be necessary.

Experience

A minimum of 2 years experience is required for this position.
