Fall River Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC), located in Fall River, Ma is part of Acadia Healthcare's Comprehensive Treatment Centers, the leading provider of medication-assisted treatment in the nation. Our team provides compassionate, high-quality counseling, therapy, medication, and guidance to patients seeking recovery from Opioid Use Disorder.

Practice Setting/Type: Outpatient OTP

Full Time Schedule: M-F, 5:30A-2P

Compensation Range: $60-$80 per hour

With 14 outpatient opioid treatment programs (OTPs) across Massachusetts and Rhode Island, we're breaking down barriers to care and supporting long-term recovery. Our CTC clinics partner with nursing homes, justice systems, and community groups to provide holistic, patient-centered care. From wellness initiatives and holiday celebrations to yoga and animal therapy, we foster a supportive environment for healing and whole-person well-being.

The Nurse Practitioner provides advanced nursing care under the supervision of the Medical Director; may also be directed by Nurse Supervisor for the clinic under the state licensure guidelines for Nurse Practitioners; evaluates and monitors treatment of patients as part of a healthcare team at the clinic. May prescribe medication as allowed by state regulation.

Responsibilities

Role Responsibilities:

• Provides initial and annual history and physical evaluation, assesses eligibility for treatment, evaluates patients' history of dependence on opioids;
• Orders appropriate laboratory studies, reviews laboratory results and provides necessary education, referral and / or follow up services to patients;
• Monitors the treatment plans of high risk patients.
• Prescribes medication for the treatment of substance abuse according to patient need as allowed by state regulation;
• Consults and collaborates with Medical Director to plan and implement care according to Nurse Practitioner Guidelines;
• Reports and documents significant patient issues and adverse events;
• Communicates pertinent information to appropriate members of the health care team;
• Collaborates with Nurse Supervisor to optimize quality and efficiency;
• Ensures that the program and employees' transactions and activities are in full compliance with all laws and clinic legal compliance program policies and standards of conduct; and,
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Compensation for roles at Fall River CTC varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, role, skill set, and level of experience. Fall River CTC provides a reasonable hourly range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Massachusetts as set forth below. Role Location: Massachusetts

Calculated Salary Range for the role: $60.00 - $80.00 per hour

Qualifications

Education & Experience Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a practicing nurse practitioner preferred.
• Previous experience in addiction recovery or behavioral health settings, such as outpatient, residential, or correctional facilities preferred
• Familiarity with Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), including methadone, buprenorphine, and naltrexone.
• Familiarity with state regulatory standards (e.g., 42 CFR Part 2, HIPAA, Joint Commission standards).
• No history of alcohol or drug misuse for a period of three years before employment

Licenses/Designations/Certifications:

• Board Certified Nurse Practitioner.
• Licensed to practice in the state of Massachusetts
• DEA license.
