Systems Engineer

Now Hiring: Systems Engineer (Electrical Focus) Location: Valencia, CA Pay Rate: Up to $70/hour We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer with a strong electrical engineering focus to support the development of advanced manufacturing and test equipment used in a highly regulated medical device environment. This temporary contract role is ideal for a hands-on engineer who excels in electrical hardware design, hardware-software integration, automation, and test systems development . Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and support complex manufacturing and test equipment. Create electrical system architectures and specify electrical and control components. Lead or support cross-functional engineering projects from concept through implementation. Develop and verify test infrastructure , ensuring system performance and compliance requirements are met. Integrate hardware and software solutions to support manufacturing and product development needs. Prepare technical documentation, project updates, specifications, and validation records. Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and designers to build, troubleshoot, and optimize equipment. Support quality, regulatory, risk, and safety requirements in a regulated environment. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering required; Master's degree preferred. 5+ years of systems engineering experience (or 3-5 years with an MS degree). Strong experience with Python programming . Proven background in electronic hardware design and hardware-software integration . Experience with verification and validation (V&V) of test infrastructure. Ability to bridge high-level system architecture with detailed hardware design. Excellent analytical, statistical analysis, communication, and collaboration skills. Experience in a regulated industry required; medical device experience strongly preferred.
