Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Telemetry Step-Down – Georgia

Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: High-acuity telemetry step-down unit with nurse-to-patient ratios of 3-4:1 in IMCU and 5-6:1 in Tele-Medical/Surgical units with PCT assistance

Highlights:

• High-acuity telemetry step-down unit providing post-ICU care
• Diverse case mix including drip management and stable ventilator patients (no vasopressors)
• Cerner electronic medical record system
• Flexibility required to float between telemetry, telemetry medical/surgical, and medical/surgical units
• Fast-paced environment ideal for clinicians who work independently and thrive in dynamic settings
• Collaborative team with Patient Care Technician support

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Georgia (or compact state license)
• Experience in telemetry, step-down, or intermediate care settings preferred
• Strong critical thinking skills and ability to manage high-acuity patients independently
• Flexibility to float across multiple units as needed
• BLS and ACLS certification required
