Environmental Services Technician
Major duties:
- Responsible to clean and disinfect assigned areas utilizing the proper chemicals and equipment.
- Cleaning walls, doors, door frames, floors, window sills, blinds, beds/bed frames, fixtures, and furniture, with emphasis on high touch surface areas.
- Polish metals, change shower, cubical and window curtains.
- Scrubs, strips, and applies floor sealers and finishes using powered buffers and scrubbers.
- Empties all waste and trash receptacles including regulated medical waste, chemotherapy, pathological waste, appropriate hazardous waste, as needed.
- Disinfects and refills containers for soap and hygiene dispensers.
- Cleans porcelain and chrome fixtures in bath and shower rooms.
- Effectively plan daily schedule in order to accomplish routine cleaning, which may include cleaning patient care and/or administration areas of the facility.
Work Schedule: Full time, 7:00am-3:30pm, Rotating Holidays and weekends.
