Job Title Physical Therapy Assistant Department Ambulatory Services | Sports PT at OCNA Location Ohio State Outpatient Care New Albany (1027) Position Type Regular Scheduled Hours 40 Shift First Shift Shift Schedule Shifts will include evenings and potentially Saturday hours. Responsibilities The musculoskeletal (MSK) physical therapy assistant is responsible for treatment of orthopedic and sports medicine patients including but not limited to post-operative, chronic, and acute pathologies. The PT performs the initial evaluation of the assigned patient and the LPTA is a member of the Rehabilitation Department and is an integral component of the interdisciplinary medical team that strives to return the patient to his/her highest level of function. This position works under the direct supervision of the Rehab Services Manager. Requirements Associates degree and PTA license in the state of Ohio required; experience in sports medicine and orthopedics preferred. Additional Requirements Final candidates are subject to successful completion of a background check. A drug screen or physical may be required during the post offer process.
