Overview

Our client specializes in commercial and industrial concrete construction, typically self-performing the full concrete scope on projects ranging from $100,000 to $4,000,000. They are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in commercial concrete construction.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions

• Develop, maintain, and manage project schedules for all contracted work

• Review project proposals, drawings, budgets, timelines, staffing, and resource allocation

• Collaborate with field leadership to manage and adhere to construction schedules

• Attend pre-construction and project field meetings

• Coordinate submittals, track submittal status, and manage releases and deliveries

• Review and adjust WIP reports monthly

• Work closely with Superintendents to resolve project issues

• Determine manpower, equipment, and material needs within budget constraints

• Purchase materials and supplies and ensure timely delivery

• Inspect project sites to ensure safety and cleanliness

• Prepare and process change orders promptly for payment

• Monitor project progress to ensure scope compliance

• Coordinate and track scope changes

• Prepare and file purchase orders and subcontracts

• Review and approve project invoices

• Obtain required permits, licenses, and PA One Calls

• Provide regular project progress updates to management

Required Qualifications

• Experience in commercial concrete construction (required)

• Bachelor's degree preferred (Construction Management preferred)

• Strong multitasking and organizational skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

• Familiarity with construction management software (Procore, Workmax, Excel, Word, Email)

• Ability to work within budgets and schedules

• OSHA 10 certification required

• Knowledge of construction estimating software (preferred)

• Construction accounting software experience (plus)
