Fairfield Cty hospital is seeking a laborist to join their team. Can do either 12 hr or 24 hr shifts for a full time role. Competitive salary with full benefits, including PTO provided!

Job Function:

• Full-time ObGyn Hospitalist Physician opportunity
• Provide care and oversight for patients presenting to Labor & Delivery or the Emergency Department, including clinic patients and those without an assigned or retained private physician
• Serve as attending of record for laboring patients admitted from the clinic and when requested by community physicians
• Provide consultation and inpatient coverage for obstetric and gynecologic patients across all hospital services
• Perform emergent gynecologic surgeries and act as backup support for midwives
• Support medical staff utilization management, clinical effectiveness initiatives, and enhance quality and safety of inpatient care
• Schedule options: 14 twelve-hour shifts per month (mix of days and nights, 7A-7P / 7P-7A, no call) or 7 twenty-four-hour shifts per month
