Requirements Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree required: Technical/quantitative fields strongly preferred (Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, Economics/Finance, Geology, Engineering or related) Demonstrated analytical ability through coursework, academic projects, internships, or research experience Strong critical thinking skills and attention to detail, with the ability to break down complex problems into tactical actions Strong ownership mentality: able to work in ambiguous situations and propose solutions Ability to learn quickly, prioritize, and adapt to new assignments in a fast‑paced environment Exposure to SQL or relational databases through coursework, projects, or prior experience Exposure to Python or similar programming languages Familiarity with the Microsoft office suite, including proficiency with MS Excel and MS PowerPoint Strong written and verbal communication skills Preferred Qualifications Master’s of Science in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, Economics/Finance, Geology, Engineering, or related field Demonstrated ability to work with large datasets, automate repetitive workflows, and build clean, reliable systems. Experience presenting analytical findings clearly in academic, research, or professional settings Experience or familiarity with natural gas markets, analytics, or trading Strong working knowledge of Python and SQL, demonstrated through academic, research, or project‑based experience.
