Job Description

An established and growing organization is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer to lead its financial strategy and operations. This executive role will drive financial planning, enhance operational performance, and support scalable growth across a multi-entity or multi-location environment. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can improve cash flow, elevate reporting capabilities, and serve as a strategic partner to senior leadership.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with executive leadership to shape organizational strategy and translate business objectives into comprehensive financial plans
• Oversee core financial operations, including accounting, forecasting, billing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory, and payroll functions
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards and reporting requirements
• Develop and execute cash management strategies to optimize working capital, improve collections, manage expenditures, and align inventory levels
• Lead the annual budgeting process and maintain rolling forecasts to support data-driven decision-making
• Provide strategic financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for operational improvement
• Support organizational readiness for external audits, reviews, and regulatory compliance requirements
• Partner cross-functionally to evaluate and implement systems and tools that improve scalability, reporting accuracy, and process efficiency
• Establish and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard assets, mitigate risk, and ensure accurate financial reporting
• Evaluate growth and investment opportunities, including acquisitions, through financial analysis, due diligence, and risk assessment

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in a senior finance or accounting leadership role (e.g., Head of Finance, Finance Director, or similar)
• Strong expertise in financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and managing month-end close processes
• Proven ability to lead and develop accounting and finance functions within complex or multi-entity environments
• Demonstrated success in improving cash flow through effective management of receivables, expenses, and operational financial processes
• Experience supporting external audits, regulatory compliance, and implementing or enhancing internal control frameworks
• Strong interpersonal and business partnering skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across leadership and operational teams
• Comfortable working cross-functionally to drive process improvements and support the implementation of systems that enhance reporting, efficiency, and scalability
