Assistant Facilities Manager – JLL We are hiring an Assistant Facilities Manager to oversee comprehensive site operations at our Cambridge location. This role focuses on strategic vendor management, client relationship building, and team leadership to ensure world‑class facility operations and exceptional client service. Key Responsibilities Manage site operations in compliance with policies, procedures, and contract requirements. Oversee vendor relationships for janitorial, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and critical systems, ensuring contract compliance and insurance requirements. Track and audit client work orders within the CMMS to ensure vendors meet established SLAs. Build and maintain strong client relationships, delivering exceptional service quality and exceeding performance indicators. Assist with annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and monthly spend reporting; manage purchase orders, invoices, and payments. Lead, develop, and supervise a professional team dedicated to delivering service excellence. Coordinate internally with fitness, food services, security, and capital project teams to ensure integrated facility operations. Required Qualifications High school diploma. Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in facilities management or related field. Demonstrated people‑management skills, ability to motivate and develop teams. Proficiency with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Strong analytical, organizational, and presentation skills. Experience with enterprise workplace management systems, digital ticketing platforms, and data reporting tools. Proficient in IT tools and platforms, including generative AI and conversational search applications. Preferred Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Facilities, Property, Business, Engineering, Finance, or related field. Advanced experience with CMMS platforms and data analytics. Background in financial management and budget reconciliation. Experience implementing innovative programs that reduce operating costs and increase productivity. Location & Compensation Cambridge, Massachusetts (100% onsite). Monday‑Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM. Annual salary: $66,400 – $83,158.
