CNC MILL MACHINIST

Located on the southern edge of De Pere, just off Highway 41, Caliber is minutes from Green Bay and a short drive from the Fox Valley - Appleton, Neenah, and Menasha.

Job Summary

Caliber is looking for experienced vertical and horizontal mill machinists to join our team on the first shift, Monday – Thursday: 10-hour shifts OR Monday – Friday: 8-hour shifts.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Programming, set up and machine operation to mill and drill a wide variety of work maintaining a high degree of accuracy and strict tolerances
• Produce parts to print holding tight tolerances on Mazak VMC or HMC
• Select speeds and feeds, tooling, and operational sequences
• Inspect machined parts to ensure they meet proper size, shape, or tolerance specs using micrometers, and other measuring tools and devices, first-part run and sample workpiece
• Communicate with supervisor, programmer, quality control, and other shop personnel for assignments and to resolve machining or quality issues
• Maintain cleanliness throughout work area
• Be a Team Player

Qualifications and Skills

• REQUIRED: 2 YEARS of PROGRAMMING and MACHINING in a Job Shop Environment
• REQUIRED: EXPERIENCE PROGRAMMING PARTS AT THE MACHING USING MAZATROL
• Strong blueprint reading and math skills including metric to imperial conversion
• Knowledge of manufacturing process, machine tooling and fixturing, set-up, and preventative maintenance
• Detail oriented and consistent
