Bridge Engineer (7 - 10 years)

Responsibilities We are currently seeking qualified candidates to fill a Bridge Engineer position in our Richmond, VA office. Leading analysis, design, and detailing local and state DOT bridge projects under the supervision of senior level bridge engineers Attend meetings and conferences when necessary/required Other responsibilities may include report preparation, field reconnaissance and inspection Requirements Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (with concentration in structural engineering) from an ABET Accredited College 7 to 10 years of experience Preferably have their EIT Certificate (or the ability to obtain within 12 months) - PE License is a plus Experience with MicroStation, OpenBridge Modeler, AASHTOware, AutoCAD, and MathCAD is a plus Experience with VDOT and local government projects and their design software is a plus Familiarity with reinforced concrete and steel design Strong communication and organization skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, such as Word & Excel Desire to work in a team environment Benefits Body, mind, and wallet—LaBella's benefits support a holistic approach to your health and wellness, creating the foundation for physical, mental, and financial well-being.
