About the Team The Solutions Architecture Team partners with users to realize their full potential through prescriptive solutions that drive growth and success. Specialist Solutions Architects (SSA) are domain experts aligned to specific Stripe products and provide insights to pre‑sales, product, engineering, and GTM teams. Responsibilities Act as a subject matter expert on Stripe’s Money Management products (Capital, Issuing, Financial Accounts, and Payouts) to accelerate opportunities. Demonstrate a deep understanding of embedded finance applications and how they integrate within Stripe’s product suite. Consult users on a broad range of embedded finance use cases, from charge‑card programs and global payouts to financing options such as revenue‑based financing, loans, and credit lines. Understand compliance requirements for solutions built with Stripe products, especially as new markets and use cases emerge. Define, share, and refine best practices and reusable assets with the broader GTM organization. Create reference architectures to improve the team and adjust solutions based on product updates and customer feedback. Collaborate closely with the Money Management product sales team and participate as part of the opportunity team for the largest customers to lead strategy and maintain key relationships. Serve as a “Voice of the Customer,” providing actionable insights to product stakeholders to influence roadmap and feature prioritization. Provide insights on emerging technologies such as stablecoins for money movement, lending, and global financial access to guide product development. Deeply understand the sales process and provide tools and training to qualify leads and simplify distribution for rapid onboarding. Stay current on competitive analysis and market differentiation. Support marketing events including executive briefings, conferences, user groups, and trade shows. Minimum Requirements 7+ years of technical sales experience, ideally within a fintech company. 3 years of product experience with embedded finance solutions (card issuing, lending, treasury management). Experience integrating RESTful APIs into web applications. Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, comfortable explaining complex concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences. Passion for learning and researching current and emerging products to develop innovative solutions. Proven ability to build strong collaborative relationships with business partners. Ability to deal effectively with ambiguity and thrive in a fast‑moving, unstructured environment. Preferred Qualifications Strong knowledge of software engineering and architecture patterns; ability to understand technology interactions. Experience enabling and scaling a GTM team. Experience in systems design, building, and deploying complex applications. Hybrid Work at Stripe This role may be performed from an office or remotely if located 35 miles (56 km) or more from a Stripe office. In‑office employees should spend at least 50% of the month in a local office or with users. Remote employees will be expected to work primarily from home and will receive occasional invitations to the office for meetings and events. Relocation costs are not covered. Pay and Benefits Annual U.S. base salary range: $203,400 – $305,000. For sales roles, the range includes target earnings (OTE) that combines commission/bonus and base salary.
